Formula E is finally heading to Korea this August.
The FIA Formula E World Championship or Formula E is a motorsport championship event held annually since 2014. Happening at a special street circuit at the Jamsil Sports Complex from 10 - 14 August 2022, this will mark the first time that the largest racing event for electric cars will make its way to Korea for the 2022 Seoul E-Prix.
Korean global superstars BTS are joining the "race for clean earth" by teaming up with Formula E as global ambassadors. The first official teasers drop on 12 July.

The partnership with the GRAMMY-nominated act was initially revealed in 2020, with RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook decked out in race suits.
The Korea leg of the 2020 season was cancelled due to COVID-19, but the 2022 edition will have the Seoul E-Prix as the final dates of the 2022 season. Seoul will also hold Festa 2022, which is said to feature K-pop performances, international pop acts, and more - similar to the celebrations that take place at an F1 weekend.
