As 2023 approaches, Disney+ subscribers can rest knowing that there will be no shortage of Asia-Pacific (APAC) streaming content in the new year.

At a Content Showcase in Singapore on 30 November, The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific unveiled its upcoming slate for the streaming platform, which is packed with eclectic titles from countries such as South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, and Australia.

K-pop fans, in particular, will have plenty to look forward to with several documentaries featuring prominent artists making their way to Disney+. Featuring BTS, the exclusive Disney+ original docu-series BTS MONUMENTS: BEYOND THE STAR will chronicle the nine-year journey of the Grammy-nominated group and show the thoughts, daily lives, and plans of the 'Yet To Come' hitmakers through an extensive collection of music and footage.

ARMYs will also be treated to a solo documentary starring the septet's j-hope. Tentatively titled "j-hope Solo Documentary", the project will contain unseen interview clips and give fans behind-the-scenes access to his Lollapalooza set and the making of his 2022 album Jack in the Box.

Meanwhile, a new NCT 127 documentary with the working title NCT 127 The Lost Boys — which follows Mark, Johnny, and Yuta — will feature footage from the SM Entertainment boy group's globe-trotting 2022-2023 World Tour and explore their success and evolution since they made their debut.
