The first wave of artists for Summer Sonic 2025 as been announced!

The festival will be headlined by one of the most successful pop punk bands of the last few decades - Fall Out Boy. The quartet of guitarist and vocalist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, guitarist Joe Trohman and drummer Andy Hurley have played Summer Sonic several times before. This year they make their grand return to the famed Japanese event.
Official HIGE DANdism have also been added to the lineup. Affectionately abbreviated as Higedan, the four-piece pop rock band are coming off critical and commercial success of their latest album Rejoice, which was released last year. Alongside several hits, that album also contains 'Mixed Nuts', the fan-favourie opening theme to the Spy x Family anime.
Summer Sonic 2025 is set to take place on Saturday, 16 August and Sunday, 17, August. The upcoming 24th iteration will once again be held at ZOZO Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe in Chiba for the Tokyo venue and at Expo ’70 Commemorative Park in Osaka.
