The first edition of HONNE's popular inside-out video series to be filmed overseas is here.
Created together with Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and record label Warner Music Singapore, inside-out in Singapore follows the British alt-pop outfit as they perform acoustic renditions of their songs at various locations across Singapore.
Launched on 18 July, the first part of the collaborative project — which was conceived with the intention of using music to show new sides of the city-state — takes James Hatcher and Andy Clutterbuck to several spots in the colourful Joo Chiat area, including Micro Bakery at Red House and Kohi Roastery & Coffee Bar.
The video is soundtracked by a soothing version of HONNE's 2018 track 'Location Unknown ◐' and continues the tradition of the inside-out series by being shot using a camera placed inside a guitar.

HONNE, who were recently in Singapore as part of their 2023 Asia Tour, shared: “Although we’ve been to Singapore several times, we’ve never had the chance to really get to know the city and find out what makes it special. Through this project, we got to immerse ourselves in a range of new and unexpected experiences that showcase why Singapore is such a vibrant place, and we can’t wait to share this with our fans around the world!”
Inside-out in Singapore is set to continue with two more videos that showcase Keong Saik Road and the famous Marina Bay area. They will feature acoustic versions of 'No Song Without You' and 'Day 1 ◑'.
“We are delighted to work with Warner Music Singapore and HONNE to spotlight Singapore’s lesser-known offerings through music. HONNE are hugely popular in Southeast Asia. While many travellers from this region may be familiar with Singapore, we hope HONNE’s new take on some of their most-streamed hits will inspire their fans to uncover fresh perspectives of our city,” said Terrence Voon, Executive Director, Southeast Asia, STB.
