Following their global digital debut, the seven-member J-Pop group, IMP. have announced their first CD single CRUISIN’/IMP., to be released on 8 November 2023.
IMP., formerly known as IMPactors, were introduced as part of Hideaki Takizawa's new entertainment company, TOBE, in July this year. On 18 August, they came out with their first digital single, ‘CRUISIN’’, to a very strong start, immediately ranking first in the Oricon weekly digital singles chart and Billboard Japan’s top downloaded songs. The following month, they released their second digital single, ‘IMP.’, in what the group describes as a song with “lyrics that reflect who we are”. Both songs are available to stream and download on major digital music platforms.
IMP.’s debut CD will feature both previously released songs and come in two limited versions, each with a unique combination of one additional track and video content, and a regular version with two new tracks of its own. The pre-order period for each version is from 27 September to 1 November, while the special three-type combo package is available until 10 October 2023.
