Now/Live have announced that James Blake will be performing live on 22 July at The Star Theatre. While the boundary-pushing UK musician has performed in Singapore before as part of major festivals such as St. Jerome's Laneway, this is set to be his first-ever headline concert  in the country.

Influenced by the likes of D’Angelo and Stevie Wonder along with Burial and Mount Kimbie, Blake first rose to prominence in the 2010s thanks to his soulful approach to dubstep and post-dubstep. Since then, he's become one of the most renowned British artists of the 21st century - winning the Mercury Prize and two Grammy Awards along the way.

Beyond his acclaimed solo work, he's also well-known for his zeitgeist-defining collaborations with Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, Rosalía, Oneohtrix Point Never, and Justin Vernon, among many others. Most recently, he started the year with a standout appearance alongside Timothée Chalamet on SNL, performing deep cuts from Bob Dylan’s catalogue. Next up, Blake is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated seventh studio album.

Now/Live presale begins on Tuesday, 1 April at 11AM to Friday, 4 April at 10AM. Sign up to the Now/Live mailing list before 11PM on 31 March for presale access. Presale code will be released at 8AM on 1 April.
