This is a tale of a sheer endurance.
Streaming now comprises more than 80 percent of the US market, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) reports.
Earlier this morning, the organisation shared some revelatory of statistics on social media depicting the place of prominence that streaming has risen to over the last decade. From once making up only 7% of consumption habits, streaming, across various platforms, now has become the dominant way in which music is listened to in the US. Concomitantly, paid subscriptions to premium services grew to 61 million in 2019.
