A new single from David Yong and MAMAMOO's Moonbyul has arrived.

Released on Wednesday (12 April), 'Maybe Love' is the first collaborative track to come from the Singaporean entrepreneur and artist and the South Korean rapper and vocalist. It is also the former's first release since 2022's 'In My Pocket'.

Described as an urban pop number that ushers in the season of spring, 'Maybe Love' sees Yong and Moonbyul unite their voices to tell a story of budding love in the early stages of a relationship.

Yong, the CEO of Evergreen Group Holdings, recounted what it was like putting the song together: "When I was developing 'Maybe Love', it brought me back to my younger days when love was simple and pure like the butterfly feelings in our hearts. Moonbyul's rap added the right colour and texture to give the song some cool sassiness."

Just last August, it was announced that Yong — who hopes to be an "influencer CEO" who can make an impact on the K-pop scene — had signed a global agency contract with South Korean entertainment company Rainbowbridge World (RBW), which houses acts such as MAMAMOO and Purple Kiss.

As for Moonbyul, 2023 has been an eventful year that has seen her perform across Asia as part of MAMAMOO's MY CON world tour and release music as a member of the MAMAMOO sub-unit, MAMAMOO+.
