Along with its groovy rhythm and mix of dance and pop music, the new single portrays the emotions of what it feels like to fall in love and build the courage to express it to the person in hopes they feel the same.
In the press release, Poetri shared what this song means to her, "'No Explanations’" is a fun, summery, disco song! We wrote it about how much I love someone – so much that I don't need to actually say I love them because the way I feel and behave already shows that.”
This also marks Poetri's latest release following her latest single 'Breakfast in Bed' featuring gnash.
“There are so many wonders and uncertainties in life… You're not sure what's for dinner, or if tomorrow will come on time, but the feeling of love is certain, and you’ll perceive it clearly, it's here.” Zhang shares.
Elephante added how this single pushed him out of his comfort zone, "'No Explanations' is a song about first love - that giddy, unapologetic feeling of falling for someone, and hoping that they’re doing the same for you. It’s a feel good, synthy BOP - it was a lot of fun working on something outside my normal comfort zone, and a blast putting the song together with Steph and Zhang."
Elephante completed his 20-city 'Heavy Glow Tour' in June. Fans can look forward to the following months as he is set to appear in other music festivals, including The Grand Boston on 7 April, Heatwave in Chicago on 11 June, Escapade in Ottawa, Canada, on 25 June, and the Moonrise Festival at Baltimore on 13 August.
'No Explanations' is now available on all streaming platforms.
