Two Taiwanese acts, jazz and R&B musician Whyte and instrumental rock band Major in Body Bear, will be playing in Thailand for the first time as part of Bangkok Music City, which will take place from 1 to 2 March.
Bangkok Music City (BMC) is the pioneer music conference and showcase festival in Thailand which returns in 2025 after a three-year hiatus, and spearheaded by Live Nation Tero, Fungjai and NYLON Thailand, with the goal of establishing BMC as one of Southeast Asia’s premier showcase festivals.

Whyte and Major in Body Bear will be part of the stellar line up of 58 local and international artists, including top Thai acts such as MILLI, Tilly Birds, Slot Machine, KIKI, LANDOKMAI, James Alyn, and Phum Viphurit.
The festival will also be attended by close to 100 international delegates, promising a dynamic, diverse and globally connected musical experience.
Whyte is a female artist at the forefront of Taiwan’s jazz and R&B scene. She is known by fans for her mysterious image and her soulful retro voice, which combines elements of soul, blues and jazz, striking the heartstrings of urban listeners with her chillhop style.
Major in Body Bear was established in 2016, and is an instrumental four-piece music ensemble with a passion for Japanese rock, post-rock and improvisational performances.
