TAKEONE COMPANY, a developer specializing in idol-themed games, confirmed that its cinematic story adventure game BTS WORLD Season 2 will launch globally in over 170 countries on 17 December.

BTS WORLD Season 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to BTS WORLD, originally developed by TAKEONE COMPANY and published by Netmarble. The original game achieved remarkable success, garnering over 16 million downloads worldwide and earning the Mobile Game of the Year award at the prestigious Golden Joystick Awards.

The new game enhances its playable content with features like collecting and upgrading BTS-themed cards and engaging in casual gameplay where players match cards and blocks in the SOWOOZOO stage. Additionally, it introduces BTS Land, a customizable space where players can collect decorative items inspired by BTS album concepts and design their personalized environments.

Through these features, players can enjoy exclusive BTS-themed visuals, such as the Permission to Dance and ON album concepts, as well as unique in-game themes like "Summer Day," where BTS enjoys a relaxing vacation, and "Café Time", where the group spends a leisurely tea break.

Pre-registration for the game is now open on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Depending on the total number of pre-registrations, players will receive various rewards such as a Card selection ticket that allows players to obtain a desired member card of a specific grade within the game and 2,000 gems which can be used to purchase draw ticket items, gold, and other items.

On 3 December, one day after pre-registering, the official game SNS accounts will host the following event. Users can participate by following the official BTS WORLD Season 2’s X account. Participants will be entered into a lottery to win rewards that contain 10 draw tickets and 1,000 gems.

Leading up to the launch, TAKEONE COMPANY plans to unveil more details about the game’s core content, including the specially designed objects from BTS LAND inspired by BTS albums.
