1989 (Taylor's Version) is coming.
In the last stop of the Los Angeles leg of The Eras Tour, Taylor Swift announced that she will be releasing the re-recorded version of her 2014 album, 1989. The album is set for release on 27 October, the same date 1989 was initially released nine years ago.
"The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th," Swift writes on social media.

1989 (Taylor's Version) is said to include five From The Vault tracks. "To be perfectly honest, this is my most favourite re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind," she says.
The album comes as the latest re-release version of Swift's old catalogue, following Speak Now (Taylor's Version) which dropped last July. Swift has just wrapped up the US leg of The Eras Tour and is set to continue in Latin America later this August.
