Biography

With no other instrument besides their voices, The Outside Edition creates a unique sound that embodies lush harmonies and groovy, feet-tapping beats. Having performed at music events organized by Esplanade and the National Arts Council, they have engaged audiences of varying ages and a cappella experience. Founded back in 2014, the group comprises six friends who enjoy making music together to escape the daily grind of working life. Individually, each member comes with several years of semi-professional performing experience under their belts. With a repertoire of pop, classic rock and Christmas numbers, they have been engaged for different events such as a cappella festivals, weddings and corporate functions. The group is currently working on recording and publishing more of their repertoire on social media. Someday, they hope to perform an entire set of songs by Queen and The Beatles.
