SM Entertainment is joining the Weverse family.
On 17 April, the global fandom platform announced that a total of 12 soloists and groups from the South Korean entertainment giant will be moving from its existing fan community platform KWANGYA CLUB to Weverse and opening official communities by September this year.
They will be joining the likes of BTS, BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, LE SSERAFIM, MOONBIN&SANHA, and more who are currently on the platform.
Following this, fans will be able to purchase official merchandise on Weverse Shop, enjoy exclusive multimedia content, and connect with the label's artists through Weverse Live.

The news follows a platform collaboration between HYBE, Kakao Entertainment, and SM Entertainment that was previously announced last month.
SM Entertainment is home to KANGTA, BoA, TVXQ!, SUPER JUNIOR, Girls' Generation, SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, aespa, and more.
Previously on 1 January, SM Entertainment held an online winter concert titled SMTOWN LIVE 2023 : SMCU PALACE @ KWANGYA, which was livestreamed globally on the label's official YouTube, BeyondLIVE, and TikTok channels. A music video for 'The Cure', a special collaboration track featuring leaders KANGTA, BoA, U-KNOW, LEETEUK, TAEYEON, ONEW, SUHO, IRENE, TAEYONG, MARK, KUN, and KARINA has been released.
