On 4 November, the highly anticipated Korean music award announced this year's list of nominees, revealing prominent names in the industry like Jay Park, BTS, Girls Generation's TAEYEON, BLACKPINK, NCT DREAM, SEVENTEEN, IU, LE SSERAFIM, aespa, PSY, IVE, STAYC, Lim Young Woong, (G)I-DLE, Red Velvet, MONSTA X, BOL4, and more.

Winners of the various awards will be determined by the following criteria:

Top 10 (Bonsang)

• Melon Digital Score - 80%
• Public Vote - 20%

Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Best Male Solo, Best Female Solo, Best Male Group, and Best Female Group

• Melon Digital Score - 60%
• Public Vote - 20%
• Judges' Evaluations - 20%

Netizen Popularity Award

• Melon Digital Score - 60%
• Public Vote - 40%

Fans can head to Melon's official website here and vote for their favorites using a verified Melon account or a South Korean KAKAO ID. Voting closes on Friday, 18 November. 

MMA 2022 is set to take place later this month on 26 November at 6 PM KST at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
