A 10th anniversary usually calls for a huge celebration and YouTube Fanfest (YTFF) marked reaching this milestone by throwing an unforgettable event in Singapore last week.
Held live at Marina Bay Sands and streamed worldwide via YouTube on 11 November, the latest edition of YTFF continued the festival's tradition of gathering the most exciting creators from across the Asia-Pacific region and bringing them and their fans closer to each other.
Kicking off this year's festival was a red carpet event, where guests warmly welcomed YTFF 10's diverse lineup of creators during mini Q&A segments hosted by Benjamin Kheng and Annette Lee. Following that, holders of Superfan tickets were given rare opportunities to interact with their favourite creators at intimate Meet & Greet sessions.

Having whetted the appetites of attendees, YTFF 10 proceeded to bring out its main course — its live show. Featuring performances from a stellar lineup of artists from countries such as South Korea, Japan, Singapore, the Philippines, and Indonesia, it was a fitting way to celebrate YTFF's growth over the last decade and the bright future that lies ahead of it.
In case you missed YTFF 10, here are seven standout performances from the event.
BENJAMIN KHENG

Benjamin Kheng is a name that needs no introduction. Since making his debut as part of The Sam Willows in 2012, the vocalist has turned into one of the most recognisable names in Singapore's pop music scene.

After displaying his comedy chops while hosting the pre-show red carpet event, Kheng brought out his more charming side when he took the stage for his two-song set. Once he had put everyone in a buoyant mood with 2021's 'Fresh Feelings', which remains an earworm to this day, he seamlessly slowed things down with 'Forever Love', a beautiful love tune that sent heads in the crowd swaying from side to side.
THE REAL AKIBA BOYZ

B-boy dance group THE REAL AKIBA BOYZ let their bodies do all the talking in a high-octane display that left the entire audience in a state of amazement.

By flipping, spinning, and manipulating their limbs without even breaking a sweat, the Japanese unit drew screams and cheers from those in attendance as they delivered stunning dance covers of three anime tunes — Paradise Lunch's 'Gun's & Roses' (from Baccano!), LiSA's 'Gurenge' (from Demon Slayer), and Ado's 'New Genesis' (from One Piece Film Red).
STARBE

With radiant images of forests and clouds being projected on the screen behind them, StarBe, donning elegant dresses, delivered an angelic live performance of their recently released track 'Touch The Sky'.

After a costume change that lasted mere seconds, the four-piece Indonesian girl group showcased their versatility by diving right into their lighthearted pop song 'Cheesecake' before signing off with the empowering anthem 'Time To Fly'.
AC BONIFACIO

Since charming audiences in the Philippines during her time on the reality dance competition Dance Kids (which she eventually won), the multi-talented AC Bonifacio's popularity has grown immensely, and it's easy to see why.

Brimming with confidence as she moved and sang, the Canadian-born Filipino singer, dancer, actress, and vlogger opened her set on a high with her 2021 single 'Fool No Mo!'. Bonifacio, who is also known for her YouTube dance covers, then decided conclude her performance by treating guests to a live dance cover of NewJeans' 'Attention'. With a smile that could be spotted even from afar, the 19-year-old wunderkind held the attention of everyone in the crowd.
TRAVIS JAPAN

Travis Japan are a force to be reckoned with and their spectacular showmanship during their appearance at YTFF 10 was enough to extinguish any doubts about this.
Clad in colourful and stylish suits, the Japanese song-and-dance boy group opened with an electrifying performance of 'My Dreamy Hollywood', the song with which they won over judges Simon Cowell, Sofía Vergara, and Heidi Klum at the 2022 edition of America's Got Talent.
During the short break in their set, the Johnny & Associates act asked the crowd to remember them, but it was a request that did not have to be made.

With their second song, Travis Japan recently released debut single 'JUST DANCE!', the group filled the entire venue with so much positive energy that it became virtually impossible for the audience to forget what they had just experienced once the set was over.
SB19

Comprising only a single song, SB19's pre-recorded set may have been brief, but it served as the perfect teaser for their upcoming full-length concert in Singapore later this month.
As the P-pop quintet delivered an exhilarating performance of their 2022 hit 'WYAT (Where You At)', there were times when resisting the urge to move your head and body became a challenge even though Pablo, Stell, Ken, Justin, and Josh were not physically present. Now that Singapore has had a taste of what SB19 are capable of, excitement levels for their show at The Coliseum at Resort World Sentosa's Hard Rock Hotel Singapore on 27 November are surely higher than they have ever been.
How was our @YouTubeFanfest performance yesterday? Thank you so much to everyone who tuned in! 'Til next time! 🤘🏻🪩#SB19 #WYAT#SB19atYTFF10 pic.twitter.com/UgVNu7KGQN

BILLLIE

One of the most highly anticipated sets of the evening was none other than Billlie's. The South Korean girl group may have only been around for a year, but they have amassed a sizeable following thanks to their growing repertoire of memorable tunes as well as their strong stage presence.
"We're very honoured to be here at YouTube Fanfest 10 with a lot of great artists and creators and of course, amazing people in Singapore as well. Now, we're going to show you our best," Moon Sua told the audience.

And Billlie's best was exactly what everyone got. Opening with their infectious track 'GingaMingaYo (the strange world)', the Mystic Story act caused the crowd to erupt in cheers and screams as they sang and executed the song's delightful choreography. Then, without losing an ounce of energy, the group unleashed a show-stopping live rendition of 'RING ma Bell (what a wonderful world)', the rock-infused title track from their latest mini-album the billage of perception: chapter two on the audience.
After such a spectacular debut in Singapore, it's safe to assume that fans are already looking forward to their next visit to the city-state.
