New music from 88rising's 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE can now be heard in NBA 2K24.
On 7 February, 2K, the developer of the basketball simulator video game, announced that players' gaming experience will now be soundtracked by tracks from 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE's forthcoming album, hella (˃̣̣̥╭╮˂̣̣̥) ✧ ♡ ‧º·˚, as well as two unreleased numbers.
Slated to be released on streaming platforms on 9 February, the "genre-blurring" project from 88rising's new media and artist collective features contributions by Indonesian rappers Rich Brian and Warren Hue, Thai artists MILLI and Phum Viphurit, Filipino singer-songwriter Eyedress, Korean-American rapper and producer Tiger JK, Korean-American hip-hop act Yoonmirae, Chinese rapper MaSiWei, and more.

Released on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC last September, NBA 2K24 is the 25th entry in 2K's NBA 2K franchise.
