Coachella teams up with Asian-grounded collective 88rising to release their first-ever set of NFTs together with multidisciplinary visual artist Curry Tian. 

“The collection is a surreal visual statement of the eternal optimism, the duality, and a belief in the boundless power of the HEAD IN THE CLOUDS Asian music culture.” says Tian. This collaboration comes as part of the California-based festival’s drive to sustain more methods for fans to show their support and connect with their favourite musicians and follows their recent partnership with NFT marketplace FTX US.

Other than a fraction of its proceeds being donated to the Asian Mental Health Institute, holders of the special NFT collection will be presented with special benefits as well. Perks include dedicated entry lines at Coachella, on-site meetups, early access to music, tickets to HEAD IN THE CLOUDS festivals, exclusive VIP experiences, early access to merchandise, future NFT drops, and many more.

This series of NFTs are only the beginning of what Coachella and 88rising has in store for their partnership. Fans can bid for the coveted series during its one-day-only sale and auction, happening on 12th April, 9 AM PST here. 

If interested members fail to make their bid, 88rising is also inviting all festival-goers to participate in an exciting NFT minting through a never-been-done-before scavenger hunt as another opportunity to get their hands on the collective’s secret art pieces.
