The nominees of the 11^th Golden Indie Music Awards (GIMA) have been revealed.  

Taking place on 31 October at the Taipei Music Center, the awards show will celebrate and recognise outstanding music artists across various genres such as folk, rock, hip hop and more. Organised by the Taiwan Ministry of Culture, GIMA sheds the spotlight on indie musicians and honour artists that write and produce their own music. 

This year, a new category, 'Asian Songwriter Award' was introduced to recognise artists outside of Taiwan. Hailing from countries around the region, artists such as Rich Brian, Rina Sawayama, ena mori, CADEJO, sorane, and more made it to the list of nominees for the new category.
