From 29 September 2023, the Irish rock band launched their U2:UV ACHTUNG BABY LIVE AT SPHERE concert in Las Vegas, with a mindblowing experience.

For the first time ever, the rock icons ventured into a one-of-a-kind performance set in a dazzling venue, the Sphere. Set to perform for 25 show dates, the band will be performing till 16 December 2023. The tour commemorates the quartet’s acclaimed album, Achtung Baby, which was released in 1991. Comprising of memorable hits like ‘One’, the album is known to be the seventh studio album produced by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno.

U2 fans will get to feast their eyes on spectacular visuals showcasing bespoke art from distinguished artists such as Es Devlin, John Gerrard, Marco Brambilla, and Industrial Light & Magic, as the band performs on a stage that was inspired by collaborator and producer Brian Eno’s turntable.

On the same day of the concert kickoff, the band also released their new single ‘Atomic City’. Intended to be an ode to the 1970s post-punk scene with a nod to Blondie, the single was titled after the nickname for Las Vegas in 1950, when atomic bombs were being tested at the Nevada Test Site.
