Apple Music brings it to the next level with aespa as the new face for their Up Next programme. 

2022 marks the 6th year that Apple Music has initiated the Up Next monthly artist programme, where the streaming platform selects an up-and-coming talent to showcase and elevate. Reportedly, the SM Entertainment act will be releasing a short film and invites fans to check out their exclusive interview with Brooke Reese here.

This month, the ‘Savage’ hitmakers join the lineup which includes star-studded alumni with the likes of Daniel Caesar, H.E.R, Billie Eillish, Bazzi, Sabrina Claudio, Givēon, Holly Humberstone, and many more. 

Citing their threefold growth in monthly listeners in the past year, Apple Music 1 host Brooke Reese comments that “the girls of aespa are just getting started and I can’t wait to follow along their journey”. 

This good news comes with their comeback just around the corner. Titled Girls, their 2nd mini-album is described by leader Karina as a release that would allow the girls to dabble in a variety of genres that complement their individual vocal colours.
