The After School performance series returns for its third edition this June with a stellar line-up.
Curated by Bon Goût Music, After School aims to bring together random genres of music to give people a chance to explore music outside of their comfort zones, much like people used to do back in the good old days, where students would hang out after school, each sharing their own unique tastes in music with one another.
Bon Goût Music, founded by renowned Japanese jazz pianist Aya Sekine (pictured, left), are bringing in acts the likes of Japanese father-and-son duo BoGGGeY, Ayaschool (Aya Sekine featuring Cheryl Ong of The Observatory and SA Trio), Hanging Up The Moon (pictured, right), Wolf&theMoon and DJ Itch for After School Vol. 3.
Besides a unique line-up of musical acts, a special portrait shop will be hosted by young Japanese talent Mondo Okumura. Getting your portrait drawn by Mondo will cost an additional $25 to the cover charge.
