Singaporean rap phenomenon Akeem Jahat has deservedly earned a huge following on both sides of the Causeway in recent years thanks to the unbridled success of his seluDOPE mixtape and newer releases like '$ua' and 'Risau'. 

But with a full-length studio album incoming later this year, the hip-hop artist has decided to reintroduce himself with an ambitious concert entitled $UA LIVE! at the Aliwal Arts Centre. To be held on Saturday, 4th February, this exciting forthcoming showcase will see the rapper performing with a specially assembled 9-piece band!

As we've said since his wonderful performance with Disco Hue last year, Akeem Jahat backed by a band should be the evolution that takes the surging MC to the next level in a live context. This development is also especially welcome in light of his instrumentally lush recent singles.

Presented by DX ART PRODUCTIONS, $UA LIVE promises to be "an accumulation of all of his works - re-imagined and re-arranged", exhibiting where Akeem "is currently at as an artist".

Pre-sale tickets are going for $18 will be available for purchase exclusively on Saturday, 14th January, at The Golden Rule Barber Company (level 2, 66A Race Course Road), from 4pm to 8pm. Pre-sales are limited to the first 100 purchases and ticket holders will receive reserved priority to purchase the "ROBBIN HOODIE" Snapbacks worth $65.00 (limited stocks).

However if you're unable to head out for the pre-sale bonanza this Saturday, not to worry, tickets will also be sold at the door for $23.
