Mutual philosophies and beliefs are key to strong partnerships.
Today (9/10), Vans announced that singer-songwriter and producer, Anderson .Paak, will be taking his relationship with the brand to the next level. The Grammy-winning artist has been crowned as Vans’ first Global Music Ambassador, and will be debuting an exclusive footwear and accessories collection.
The news coincides with the release of his latest single, ’JEWELZ’, now out on YouTube with an animated music video directed by himself and Ali Graham.
Inspired by .Paak’s Southern Californian roots, and his critically acclaimed albums Venice and Malibu, the design of the collection features new prints on the timeless Old Skool DX and AP Bucket Hat. The shoes will be topped off with a custom tongue label message from Anderson .Paak, green waffle soles, custom packaging, and dust bags to match, while the hats will be adorned with silicon patches and signature quotes affixed to the brim.
