Back in 2017, Ean Aguila was intially accused of possible sexual misconduct and pursuing romantic relationship with a 17-year-old fan when he was 30.
Aguila and his former bandmates Owel Alvero and Joe Fontanilla denied the allegations at the time saying, “We categorically deny any insinuations of predatory behavior or sexual abuse. However, our misconduct contributes to a larger culture of toxic masculinity that allows for these problems to perpetuate.”
However, the allegations resurfaced this past January on social media when musician Paulene Rana (@thepurestblue) shared a series of Instagram Stories detailing her troubling experiences with Aguila, and compared him to Neil Gaiman.
