Avril Lavigne has unleashed her cinematic music video for her latest single, ‘I Fell In Love With The Devil’, from her recent album, Head Above Water. This comes after the release of her collaborative track with Nicki Minaj, ‘Dumb Blonde’.

The video for ‘I Fell In Love With The Devil’ is set within an eerie graveyard in a forest, and opens with Avril driving a hearse of her own coffin. Subsequently, the video tells the story of Avril’s dance with the devil, before finally breaking free and escaping from his clutches. Footage of Avril in several extravagant gowns wandering the forest and playing the piano is also interpolated between shots of the main plot.

Upon the release of the music video, Avril took to her social media to explain that the song was written about the toxic relationships she has been in.
