Avril Lavigne has released a new single with Nicki Minaj titled 'Dumb Blonde' with an accompanying lyric video today.

Following up her Memphis rock-inspired ballad 'Tell Me It's Over' with her second single off her forthcoming album Head Above Water, she addresses the image people have of her: Not being as smart as she looks.

She pushes back at haters with lyrics such as "Too quick to condescend, well, you think I'm empty, I'm not/ You won't be so confident when I'm crushin' you from the top" with Minaj coming in at the bridge with empowering and chest-thumping bars such as, "Now all of them wanna be a Barbie, I'm watchin'/ But you never gon' stop me, never gon' top me".
