Singaporean rapper Axel Brizzy and R&B musician YAØ will be playing at lyf@SMU on Wednesday, 26 June, from 7pm, as part of a collaboration between Bandwagon Presents and lyf, a new coliving brand by The Ascott Limited.

A place where local elements in music, F&B, fashion and art collide, lyf (pronounced ‘life’) is Ascott’s new coliving brand designed by millennials, for millennials. Seeking to foster community living amongst the change-makers and adventure-seekers, the upcoming lyf Funan Singapore encourages people to Live Your Freedom! With 279 apartments that will be open from October, lyf provides not only well-designed social spaces, but also offers a variety of apartment types with private bedrooms, bathrooms and workspaces for solo and group travellers. There will also be exciting weekly events that allow travellers to plug into the community and experience the city like a true local.

Bandwagon Presents x lyf is the first partnership between the two brands, and will feature dynamic performances by the two rapidly rising artists in contemporary Singaporean music. The youngest rapper to top the local iTunes hip-hop charts, Axel Brizzy is a force to be reckoned with. Alongside multi-hyphenate (singer, songwriter, producer) YAØ, who won the ‘New Kid On The Block’ award at the inaugural Singapore Youth Music Awards earlier this year, the two performers are poised to take the stage and entertain the audience with their various works. Most recently, the two partnered up to deliver their latest hit, ‘Wanna Know’.
