BABYMETAL has a new member.
On 1 April, the Japanese metal band announced that they have added a new member to their lineup, Momoko Okazaki. The former Girls Planet 999 contestant will join the band's Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-metal) and Moa Kikuchi (Moametal) as Momometal.

Momoko was initially part of BABYMETAL's trio of backup dancers, known as the Avengers.

The announcement was made during BABYMETAL's concert at the Pia Arena MM in Okazaki, Japan over the weekend.

BABYMETAL are set to go on a headlining tour this summer, as part of their 2023 world tour. The band will be performing in Jakarta, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.
