BABYMONSTER have come out swinging.

On 27 November (Monday) KST, YG Entertainment's new girl group made their long-awaited debut with the release of their first single 'BATTER UP'. It follows their pre-debut offering 'DREAM', which dropped in May this year.

The upbeat track was co-written by BABYMONSTER's very own Asa alongside Jared Lee, YG, TREASURE's Choi Hyuk Suk, AKMU's Lee Chanhyuk, WHERE THE NOISE, and BIGTONE with its music co-composed by Chaz Mishan, DEE.P, Jared Lee, and Asa.

BABYMONSTER is the first K-pop girl group to debut from YG Entertainment in seven years, following 2NE1 and BLACKPINK. The 6-piece act was formed from the reality show Last Evaluation.
