After he came in second in Sing! China two years ago, Singaporean pop singer Nathan Hartono has gained a new, ardent fanbase in China, and is readying the release of his first Mandopop album.

As a result, he's been spending considerable time in China, and diligently brushing up on his Mandarin skills. But how well does he know his Mandarin idioms, or chengyu? We put him to the test – find out how well he did!
