beabadoobee's newest album is on the way. 

In an announcement made on 23 March, the Filipino-British singer-songwriter revealed that she is returning this 15 July with her latest record, Beatopia. Described as a "fantastical yet deeply personal world", the album is said to be the product of the imagination of beabadoobee's 7-year-old self.

As a preview into what lies within Beatopia, the 'Coffee' hitmaker unveiled the album's lead single 'Talk' accompanied by a music video directed by Alexandra Leese and Luke Casey and features appearances from some of her closest friends and biggest fans. 

Speaking on the high energy track, beabadoobee says, "I wrote 'Talk' just after my first album. I was obsessed with Tuesday because I thought it was the best night to go out—not too much chaos but just enough to have a good time."

"Generally, it's about doing things that aren’t necessarily healthy or great for you but you can't help indulging. It's like that unavoidable feeling that you get, you cant get rid of it and you know it's bad but you love it really and it's whatever, so you do it anyway."

The 'Tired' hitmaker also recently announced her biggest UK tour to date this October, culminating in a momentous show at London's Brixton Academy. Tickets for her Beatopia Tour will go on sale on 1 April 2022 at 9 AM BST via beabadoobee's official website. 

Beatopia follows the release of 2020's Fake It Flowers and last year's Our Extended Play.
