Ben&Ben are back.
On 26 August, the Filipino folk act returned with a new single titled 'The Ones We Once Loved'. Written by the band's very own Paolo Benjamin, the emotive track talks about wishing for closure after a relationship in hopes of finding peace and healing.
The Ones We Once Loved is a song about closure. Words you wanted to say to your past, or wanted to hear from them but never got to. pic.twitter.com/qaJjwd4Gtx

The singer and guitarist shared that it's "one of the most personal, and vulnerable songs [he'd] ever written", taking inspiration from a previous long-term relationship.

"My prayer is that if you are going through your own process right now, or there are unspoken feelings or thoughts you may still have, may this song help you through them. May you have the closure you search for, and the happiness you deserve," wrote Paolo on Twitter.
