Everything But The Girl were unparalleled with their fusion of pop, jazz, electronica and bossa nova back in the 1980s and 1990s.
With a band of such stature, along with a treasure trove of singles and full-length albums, the band has their fair share of vinyl rarities. One such pressing is a 7" release of their 1988 song 'Cross My Heart', off their third album Baby, the Stars Shine Bright. This vinyl record was only pressed and distributed in the Philippines, and copies are extremely scarce online.
Music database Discogs has never had a copy exchange hands on its Marketplace, while eBay vinyl archival tool Popsike lists only one instance when the vinyl was sold over the Internet. A true rarity, now the duo's Ben Watt is in search of it.
A tweet was sent out by the multi-instrumentalist yesterday (July 26th) in hopes to land a copy himself.

Never knew this existed! Lovely 7" of EBTG’s Cross My Heart released 1985 by Warner Philippines. Proper collector’s item. Would love a copy. pic.twitter.com/M8b2v4lRvO

If you're a Filipino record collector willing to let your copy go, you can slide a message into Watt's DMs.
Meanwhile, for the rest of us, listen to 'Cross My Heart' here:
