The 2021 BET Awards have announed their full list of winners!

Hosted by actress Taraji P. Henson, the 21st BET Awards aired live from the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on 28 June. This year's theme was 'Year of the Black Woman', and it's the biggest ceremony in the award's history with 16 performers, according to Billboard.

Leading the tables with 7 nominations each, DaBaby and Megan Thee Stallion tied for the most-nominated artist for this season. Both Drake and Cardi B trailed behind with 5 nominations each.

Megan Thee Stallion was the biggest winner of the night, bagging Best Female Hip Hop Artist and Viewer's Choice Award for 'Savage Remix feat. Beyoncé'. This is the second year in a row that the 'Thot Shit' rapper has won these two awards.

Other notable winners included Jazmine Sullivan, who took home Album of the Year for her acclaimed record Heaux Tales that was released in January. It's the first R&B album to win in this category since Beyoncé’s Lemonade four years ago.

Additionally, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion were awarded Best Collaboration and Video of the Year for their 2020 smash hit, 'WAP'.

Standout performances include Lil Nas X, who performed 'Montero (Call Me By Your Name)' on an Egyptian-themed set, complete with an on-stage kiss at the end.

Hip hop maverick Tyler, The Creator also made his BET Awards debut with 'Lumberjack', a song from his latest album Call Me If You Get Lost that just dropped last Friday (25/6).

Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak's superduo project Silk Sonic—who also won Best Group—teased new music after a rendition of 'Leave the Door Open', while Cardi B revealed her pregnancy during a Migos performance of 'Type Shit'. The ceremony also included a tribute to late rapper DMX, who died in April this year.
