If you're a music producer and have no qualms moving to Japan, your dream of working with future pop stars might be closer than you think. Following the news of BTS members each becoming multi-millionaires after opening up Big Hit Entertainment stock shares to the public, the company announced an open call for producers via Big Hit Japan.

According to the open call poster, Big Hit is looking for music producers that specialise in pop music and have an excellent understanding of the global music market and trends.
All applicants of any background, education and experience are welcome to enter as long as they are above 14 years old and are currently residing in Japan or able to move there. Both team and individual submissions are welcomed.

Interested applicants can enter the competition by submitting 2-5 demos that showcase genres like pop-rock, hip-hop, EDM, and R&B through the NNC website. The contest will run from 1 October to 2 November 2020, and the selected winner will walk away with a grand cash prize of 500,000 yen (approximately US$4731).
