Weverse to hold New Year’s Eve Live Concert featuring Big Hit Labels artists - BTS, TXT, GFRIEND, ENHYPEN, and more

Usher in 2021 with your favourite artists from Big Hit Labels!

In an announcement via their fan community platform, Weverse, Big Hit announced they will be holding a New Year’s Eve concert with all of their artists under the Big Hit roster.

The concert will be held as an online event on 31 December 2020 from the KINTEX Exhibition Center in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.

The ‘2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE presented by Weverse’ will be held as both an online live-streaming and offline (in-person) performance event on December 31(Thur), 2020.

‘2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE presented by Weverse’ will be the first concert to feature Big Hit Labels artists in one grand event, capped with the countdown to welcome in the new year.

Celebrate the last day of this year and usher in the first day of the new year with ‘2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE presented by Weverse [We’ve Connected]’, connecting together the hearts of Big Hit Labels artists and fans all around the world!

※ Limited seating will be available for the offline (in-person) performance due to seat-spacing guidelines mandated by government COVID-19 prevention measures. If the offline concert must be cancelled due to further government regulations, the event will only be live streamed online. All ticket reservations will be refunded in full if the offline event is cancelled. We will provide additional updates in the event of such changes.

LINEUP

The lineup was gradually announced across three days from 10-12 November, which includes BTS, GFRIEND, TXT, ENHYPEN, NU'EST, Lee Hyun, and Bumzu. The concert will also feature a "connect stage" as a tribute to the late rock icon, Shin Hae Chul.

It was announced on 8 December that Halsey, Lauv, and Steve Aoki will be joining the lineup with special stages at the concert. BTS member SUGA, who has been taking a break from official activities to recover from his shoulder surgery, has been confirmed to be participating in the NYE special.

HOW TO GET TICKETS

Weverse has released ticketing details for the online concert and they are available in four tiers.

4K Single-view + HD Multi-view 6 - 59,500 KRW / S$72 / PHP 2609 (limited quantity) 

HD Multi-view 6 - 49,500 KRW / S$60 / PHP 2171 

HD Multi-view 4 - 49,500 KRW / S$60 / PHP 2171 

HD Single-view - 39,500 KRW / S$48 / PHP 1732 (limited quantity) 

For those that opt for HD Multi-view 6, they will be entitled to an online meet and greet session which will allow them to meet the featured artists backstage in real-time. 

Fans that purchase tickets during the ticket sales period will also get benefits such as the 2021 New Year's Eve Live special gift emblem, as well as a delayed replay event of the livestream. 

Tickets for the online concert officially go on sale at 2pm KST (1pm SG/PH/MY Standard Time) or (12pm TH/ID Standard Time), 8 December.

Big Hit Entertainment has announced in an official statement on Weverse that the in-person concert will be cancelled due to strengthened safety measures and the recent surge of COVID-19 cases in Korea.

We would like to provide the following information regarding the in-person (offline) concert of “2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE presented by Weverse”.

Big Hit Labels has been strictly adhering to COVID-19 control regulations in preparing for the in-person concert to ensure that our artists and fans can experience the show in the safest environment possible. 

However, with increasing concerns over COVID-19 amidst the recent surge in confirmed cases and the subsequent increase in Korea’s social distancing level, we have made the decision to cancel the in-person component of this performance for the safety of our artists and fans. The concert will take place online via live streaming, with no offline (in-person) concert in order to adhere to heightened government measures on mandatory social distancing.

We sincerely apologize to all fans who have been waiting eagerly for the in-person concert. Please understand that this decision was made in order to fully comply with the government’s COVID-19 control measures and ensure the safety of everyone involved. 

The online “2021 NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE presented by Weverse” will take place as scheduled at 9:30 PM, December 31 (Thur), 2020 (KST) via live streaming. We look forward to your continued interest as we count down the days to the concert.

On 14 December, Weverse shop announced a merchandise drop to come on 15 December, 9AM (TH/ID Standard Time) or 10PM (PH/SG/MY Standard Time).
