On Tuesday (10/06), Netflix released a reaction video featuring the 'Pretty Savage' act watching the trailer for their upcoming Netflix documentary Light Up the Sky, which is scheduled to stream on October 14 (Wednesday).

UPDATE (10/13): BLACKPINK got on V Live and YouTube for a live global event to talk about their upcoming documentary. During the interview, the 'Lovesick Girls' act revealed that fans will get the chance to catch never-before-seen footage, including audition clips, videos and photos from their childhood, behind the scenes clips, and so much more.


On Wednesday (09/09), Netflix announced its first K-Pop documentary BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky, which brings the spotlight to the 'How You Like That' quartet, coming this October 14.

"Director Caroline Suh's trusted relationship with Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa offers organic and honest moments that give viewers an authentic inside look into the lives of BLACKPINK, as well as the dedication and grueling preparation each member puts into every hit song, history-making performance and sold-out arena tour. We're thrilled to bring their story to their fans worldwide," Netflix vice president of documentary features, Adam Del Deo, says in a statement.

BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky brings the "personal stories" of the K-Pop group. In a press release, BLACKPINK say, "We hope this film will bring joy and light to the viewers, and they will enjoy seeing our journey together on screen from the past four years."

BLACKPINK recently premiered 'Ice Cream,' their first collaboration with Selena Gomez, which broke the YouTube due to the influx of viewers anticipating the drop.
