BLACKPINK’s Jennie signs solo deal with Columbia Records, new single coming in October

Superstar K-pop singer and actress Jennie has signed as a solo artist with Columbia Records in partnership with her record label and entertainment company Oddatelier.

Jennie first emerged in 2016 as a member of BLACKPINK, the highest-charting female Korean act on the Billboard charts and the only artist from the country to headline Coachella.

On her own, last year she broke records with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp on the song 'One of the Girls' - which has been streamed over one billion times to date on Spotify. 

She also recently starred with the aforementioned pair on the HBO seies The Idol in 2023.
