BP Valenzuela is going back to her roots with the release of half-lit's Paradigm Shift EP.

On Wednesday (10/30), the Filipina electronic artist shared Paradigm Shift EP, from her side project half-lit. The 6-track EP reveals a quieter and more intimate side of Valenzuela with a more organic sound, away from the electropop tunes she is commonly known for.

“It is something else altogether: a way to reach other people. A way to revel in collective sadness. Suddenly I’m not as lonely,” Valenzuela writes in a statement about the side project, which made its first public performance in 2015.

half-lit's Paradigm Shift EP is now available for streaming via Bandcamp. It will soon be on other music streaming platforms.
