After a brief hiatus, Bravepaper has released his debut EP, Heavy & Light.
Initially a familiar face on the local gig circuit, Bravepaper — real name Chris Tang — has returned in 2017 renewed and ready with Heavy & Light.
The EP serves as a proper reintroduction to Tang's main acoustic project, fulfilling the emotional resonance of folk music with the world-weary insights he's acquired after years of delving into post-hardcore and alternative rock. It's a hefty combination, and one that Tang delicately handles through the record.
Heavy & Light features the talents of Ahmad Ariff (Pleasantry), Axel Serik (Sphaeras) and Koh Zhong Ren (Plate), and the EP comes with the recent release of the music video for 'I'm Sorry'.
