Neon Lights has been one of the biggest events on the local live music calendar – since its inception in 2015, crowds have thronged to the festival to enjoy the biggest names in the world of indie music.
Unfortunately, the festival will take a hiatus this year, for reasons yet unknown. The festival posted a message on their Instagram:
We regret to announce that Neon Lights will take a hiatus in 2017. There are a number of reasons for this and it’s not a decision we have taken lightly. The NL team remains committed to ensuring the festival returns to its full strength and scale in 2018."
Fans have since expressed their support for the organizing team and saying that they will still return in 2018.
