BROCKHAMPTON has revealed the release date of its upcoming album, Ginger. The follow-up record to last year's iridescence will be unleashed next Friday, 23 August, via Question Everything/RCA, as revealed in an Instagram post by Kevin Abstract. The album will feature the group's previous two singles, 'I Been Born Again' and 'If You Pray Right'.
Aside from the announcement, the rap collective also released a music video for another new song, 'Boy Bye'. Directed by Spencer Ford, who also helmed the visuals for the last two singles, the new video is equally as wacky as the others – playing around with CGI, camera perspectives and other special effects. 'Boy Bye' does not necessarily follow a specific storyline; it revolves around the members of BROCKHAMPTON being involved in various situations such as a basketball match, being suspended in a clear telephone booth-like container, and being chased by people in masks.
