Along with the return of their Jjang! Jjang! Burgers is the arrival of the beloved BT21 characters created by global superstars BTS. The burger, alongside Crisscut Fries and Lychee Oolong Frappe come with special packaging featuring the BT21 characters.

In 2021, McDonald's launched the BTS Meal in countries across the globe.
