The music video of 'Boy With Luv', the collaborative single between the K-pop juggernaut and Halsey, has broken the YouTube record for most-viewed music video premiere. The mantle previously belonged to BLACKPINK's 'Kill This Love' music video.

Emerging into the ether on April 14, the 'Boy With Luv' video garnered 74.6 million views in its first 24 hours. 'Kill This Love' initially ruled the roost with 56.7 million views.

Even at this early stage, the 'Boy With Luv' visual can be crowned a bona fide cultural event: It is the fastest music video to hit 100 million views, attaining that honour in under 48 hours.
