The Korean music scene is ending the month with the announcement of this year's winners of the Korean Music Awards.
The annual awards ceremony honours both mainstream and independent artists across genres, and are chosen by a panel made up of music industry professionals, music critics, journalists, and more. Originally scheduled to be held on 27 February, the announcement was broadcasted live online on 28 February, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The Special Achievement Award went to legendary K-rock act Deulgukhwa.
