BTS are heading back to America.
This time, the Korean global superstars are set to meet with US President Biden on 31 May 2022, Tuesday, to "discuss Asian inclusion and representation," as well as to address anti-Asian hate crimes and discrimination. Together with President Biden, BTS will also discuss the importance of diversity and inclusion, and BTS using their platform to "spread a message of hope and positivity around the world."
The visit is also to commemorate Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, which is celebrated in the month of May.
BTS will reportedly be at the White House Briefing Room with Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre before their meeting with President Biden. Tune in here at 3:30 AM KST, 1 June (2:30 AM SGT/PHT).
In 2021, the multi-awarded group was named by former South Korean President Moon Jae-in as Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture and also addressed the 76th UN General Assembly.
BTS have previously spoken out about the unfounded discrimination and unnecessary hate the Asian community continuously experience. In a statement, BTS shared: "We stand against racial discrimination. We condemn violence. You, I, and we all have the right to be respected. We will stand together."

President Biden recently visited South Korea on his first trip to Asia as US President. Earlier this week, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon shared an edited clip of the US President "singing" BTS' GRAMMY-nominated hit single, 'Butter'.
