Fellow BTS member Jimin also posted a photo of him and j-hope captioned with a purple heart.

Meanwhile, fans have been sending messages of love and support for the 'Equal Sign' singer, trending  #HaveASafeFlightOurHOPE on Twitter.

The multihyphenate is the second member of BTS to start his mandatory military service, with Jin enlisting into the army last December 2022. While j-hope's exact day of enlistment hasn't been officially announced publicly, BIGHIT MUSIC reminds fans that the enlistment ceremony is a private event for the family and loved ones of the enlisting soldiers. The label asks fans to refrain from visiting the site, and instead support j-hope in other ways.

In a rare reunion of the seven members, Jin, RM, SUGA, Jimin, V, and Jungkook came together to send off j-hope and shared a couple of photos of the moment on Twitter.

As a solo artist, j-hope has spent the last year and a half releasing his critically acclaimed album Jack In The Box, documentary j-hope IN THE BOX, and collaboration with J.Cole, 'On The Street'. He also made history by being the first K-pop act to headline Lollapalooza in 2022.
