BTS' Jimin has gifted fans with a brand new song.
Titled 'Closer Than This,' Jimin sings about being "right here" "whenever you need me". In true Jimin fashion – sweet and thoughtful – the Billboard Hot 100 number 1 artist assures ARMY (fans of BTS), "Baby, I'll come back to you". Taking it back to the start, Jimin reminisces about being with ARMY since Day 1 and sends fans comforting messages of always being there despite the time and distance apart.
The official music video shows clips of Jimin's BTS journey from the last 10 years, as well as behind the scene footage of recording the heartfelt love letter to fans. Composed and written by Jimin alongside the likes of familiar names like Ayo The Producer, August Rigo, Evan, Pdogg, and GHSTLOOP, the track was first teased in an Instagram reel of Jimin dancing to the song and also features a cameo by fellow BTS member V.

BTS are expected to reunite as a full group in 2025, once all the members have finished their mandatory military duties. Over the past year, Jimin has embarked on his solo musical journey, collaborating with BIGBANG's Taeyang, an artist he has admired for years, as well as working on the soundtrack of the latest Fast and Furious film, FAST X. He also dropped his first solo album, Face, which features lead single 'Like Crazy' – one of Bandwagon's Top Songs of 2023.
