Jimin opened up about his Proof Of Inspiration—ARMY.
Ahead of the release of BTS' anthology album PROOF, this June, the 'With you' act shared the inspiration in choosing to include 'Filter' and 'Friends' in the forthcoming record.
Often worried about coming off as "colourless", Jimin talked about how his 'Friends'—ARMY and his fellow members—reminded him of his essence. Through PROOF, he hopes to showcase more of his distinct colour.

"I wanted to live up to ARMY's expectations and show them different sides of myself. And I still have many different colours left to share. I might have come across as being colourless instead of colourful if I'd have accommodated myself to other people's ideas without having a distinct hue of my own," said Jimin.
"But my 'Friends'—the members and ARMY—were always there to remind myself of what my essence is and keep myself centered. You are my proof."
'Filter' and 'Friends' are two of the 48 tracks included in PROOF, which comprise unreleased tracks, demos, and three new songs. The album is slated for release on 10 June 2022.
